Ward Temple Night

Our goal this year is to get as many people as we can to our Ward Temple Night to unite as a ward family.  The next evening will be October 8th.  We will be meeting in the Provo Temple Chapel for the 6:00 p.m. session.  If you are in need of a ride to the Temple, please let any of the RS Presidency know so that we may make arrangements for you.

The Price is all Wrong - Coupon Class

Do you want to learn how to save money on your grocery bill?  Do you want to learn a great way to build up your food storage?  Come to "The Price is ALL Wrong" coupon class given by Sister Weight and Sister Rothe.  We will be showing you how to cut your grocery bill in half or more, sometimes you won't pay anything at all.  The time has not been set yet, but be watching this within the next few days it will be decided.  Thank you for your patience with us, as we have had to change the date a few times.  

Get your wallets ready, and bring any questions that you may have for us.  We have been doing this for over 1 year now and can testify that it REALLY does work!

Super Saturday - October 24, 2009

We would like to invite you to our annual "Super Saturday" on October 24, 2009.  We will be doing crafts starting at 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. and we invite everyone to lunch, whether you are doing crafts or not.  Be looking at your options for crafts in Relief Society each Sunday, but do remember that we have General Conference on October 3rd & 4th, so you will need to make your decisions and pay for your items quickly.  If you have any further questions, you may contact Sister Dial or Sister Talbot.  We hope everyone can take advantage of this great time the we have as sisters.  

Thank You to All...

We would like to "Thank" all of those sisters who helped with Sister Howell's funeral last week.  We had over 30 sister's help with their luncheon and served over 120 people.  What a wonderful group of sisters that we have to be able to help a wonderful family in our ward.  Please know that your kindness did not go un-noticed.  May our Heavenly Father bless you for your service in our ward. 

Temple Dedication...

Just a reminder that there will not be the 3 hours of Sunday block tomorrow, August 23, 2009 so that we may attend the Oquirrh Mountain Temple dedication.  The dedication sessions will take place at 9:00 a.m. and at 3:00 p.m.

Great Success...

Our Clothing Swap was a wonderful success and we would like to thank those who had donated, whether it was you time or clothing, every item helped.  We were able to help about 20-25 families, plus we took some of the leftovers to the Women/Children shelter.  We would like to make this an annual event, so please keep track of all of the clothing that you may be wanting to get rid of.  What a great feeling it was to help those right here in our own area.  Thank you so much for your help!

Starting at 6:00 in Hobble Creek Canyon we will gather for dinner and fun with all the families in our ward.  Come get to know the ward and have an enjoyable evening.

We will now be meeting at Sister A. Strong's home at 1:00 p.m.  Please come join us in learning about the Book of Mormon.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!  Save the date, the Queen of Hearts won't be late!  Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. we will be gathering at Sister Kester's home for breakfast.  Make sure you wear your favorite hat.

Thursday, September 10, 2009 - Ward Temple Night

We will be attending the 6:00 session in the Provo Temple.  Please be dressed and ready in the chapel by 6:00 p.m.  If you need a ride, please contact Sister Rothe and she will make sure you have an opportunity to attend.  This is a great way to come closer as a ward family.

Saturday, October 24, 2009 - Super Saturday

Be watching within the next little while for the exciting things that we will be doing for this year's Super Saturday.  One of the big things will be to purchase and put together a 72 hour kit. More information will be coming.

Sorry, I have been out of town...

It is amazing what happens around you when you leave for a week.  We have missed 2 Sundays and it seems like everything has changed... Well not everything.  We would like to congratulate those who have been called to the Primary Presidency.   We would also like to thank those who have just been released and welcome them into Relief Society.  What a great job you have done with our children.  Thank You!!

Clothing Swap this Saturday

This coming Saturday, August 8th will be our Stake Clothing Swap.  Clothing may be dropped off that morning between 8:00 am - 10:00 am. at the Stake Center.  You may come back between 11:00 am - 1:00 pm to shop for your family.  We want this to be a great success.  Please let all of your neighbors and friends know about this.  Hopefully this can help you and your family this year for your clothing needs.  If you have any questions, please contact Sister Rothe.

A Great Coupon for Milk....

Right now, if you log onto www.coupons.com you will find a coupon for $.75 off any brand of milk.  This coupon works wonderful with the "Twice the Value" coupon that Albertson's has right now in their ad.  There milk is $1.89, if you use the $.75 off and the "Twice the Value" (which takes an additional $.75 off) it makes your milk $.39 for that gallon of milk.  

The $.75 coupon is good for a couple of weeks, but the twice the value is only good until Tuesday evening.  

You are able to use the $.75 coupon at any grocery store and each computer that you have is able to print that coupon twice, so if you have access to more than one computer.... Get you bundle of coupons for cheap milk.
